The artist is a North Carolina native whose dad grew up in Morehead City. Annie spent many summers at her grandmother’s on the shores of bouge banks. In 1996 Annie was in Morehead when hurricane Bertha came through. A few months later a relic from Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s revenge was unearthed. Shortly following in 1997 Queen Anne’s Revenge was discovered! The map highlights the Queen Anne and where it was discovered off the coast of North Carolina.
